hello

thanks for coming.

music is the harbinger of happiness in ones life.

for some its popular music, and for others its traditional music. for me, its a little bit of everything.

im the kind of guy who puts the whole shebang in his burger cause i dont want to miss out on any flavours. for me, its the same with music. blues, ballads or beatboxing- its all good.

i want to share some of my favourite songs from a variety of genres which i hope you can enjoy as much as i do.

thanks for coming.

everyday good with afro-german patrice

reggae. the harmonies within the genre are often simply created by basic chord structures, combined with the jamaican dialect vocals create such hypnotic and incredible music. patrice is an afro-german artist whose style is not conventional to reggae but see's an eclectic mix with overtones of ska and pop in his most popular album "nile". his sound is very striking and it is his eclectism that puts his music on the blog.

the song i chose is "everyday good". with a heavy pounding turtle bay bassline, this tune lifts up my day because 'is good for being alive'.
enjoy.
